Never let them in.

Never let them rub circles on your back while you cry.

Your sadness only brings burdens.

Never let them in-

Never let them pull you into a hug

Never let them know how you really feel. 

Your honesty only brings pain.

Never let them hear you cry yourself to sleep-

Never let them hear your true desires.

Your dreams only bring expectations.

Never let them in.
